Windows 10 Universal Platform Apps are possible point of persistence for Malware.

ZDNet  is reporting a researcher has identified loop hole that will allow malware to re execute every-time a computer is rebooted. The significance is that it is hidden from the auto-run list that is a first place to look for malware.

Using the built in Windows Apps, he was able to show how he added commands to the registry to restart any .exe program during a computers start-up routine.  This ability is called Persistence.
